Good morning. I'm very new to this forum, so please be patient. (I've done an initial search and couldn't find anything directly pertaining to this topic.)

So here's my question: I'm looking for a microphone to hook up so I can access iChat AV. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as where to find one, specs required, etc?

I'm thinking a headset-type thing would be best, but don't know for sure.

Not sure if you need this info, but it's 733 Mhz, ver. 2.1 with a 40 GB HD.

Got your same machine and same problem.

A relatively cheap headset with mike attached (mine's Trust, about 30 $) and a Griffin iMic will solve your problem.
As well as endowing your G5 with the missing audio imput.
