I have a DP800 QS and I was wondering if I can swap the processor module into my wife's Sawtooth 400 AGP single proc 400 machine.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I'm not a technical person, but I think that it may be impossible...

The overall Bus speeds are different... 100mhz and 133mhz,and I'm sure there may be ROM issue s or something as the Sawtooth machines had no Dual as an option when they shipped.

Then again I could be wrong...

Peace,

Marc

It's impossible. If you want Dual processors in your wife's Sawtooth you gotta get one of the Sonnet or PowerLogix upgrades - also make sure you don't have the first revision Sawtooth which would mean no dual procs for you.
