I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of the time from order to ship on a custom configured G4 1.25 DP. I added an extra optical drived and changed the ATA drive to a single 80GB. I also decreased the RAM to 256 as I can buy extra ram cheap. Let me know if anyone has any experience.

I tried building a base 1.25, then doubling it via Apple's online store. The stock 1.25 SP model states a 1-2 day shipping time. The stock 1.25 DP stated a 3-5 week shipping time! I'm not sure if this changes when you further mod the PM with drives, cards, etc. Try it out and proceed to checkout - it tells you there. Hope this helps!

Yeah I got a 3-4 week reply, but I was hoping someone had actually ordered and received one, to see what the actual ship time was. Any takers?
