How would you like to be the first proud G5 user to tip his Big Gulp into the front of the machine? With the fans running.

I don't know...with 9 fans running, the unit would be dried before liquid hit the processor....

That is one flaw almost all of today's up-to-date PCs possess.
Just be careful and you'll be fine.. I never put my drinks on the desk anyway - I prefer the floor.

Atari was on to something when they came out with the 400.
That keyboard was truely spillproof.

Keep drinks away from your G5s, so the **** doesn't hit the proverbial ... fan.

I have a gap between my monitor and the G4 box where I usually put a can of pop, so if I accidently move my hand in that direction I wont even make contact with it .

Usually if anything your big gulp will hit the machine, spill a little onto the grille, and dump it's contents UNDER the machine
Apple keyboards seem to handle spills pretty well
While I'm thinking about it, the worst that can happen is the soda getting in and going along the bottom of the machien... BIG worry.. guess where the power supply is o_O

Okay, I have another problem with the G5. Suppose your forget where you place the G5. Your looking around for it, but because it doesn't make enough noise, you won't be able to find it. They need to increase fan noise. I can't believe nobody thought of this!
Man, taking drugs really DOES make you think better--I don't care what the critics say.

What if all 9 fans malfunction and start operating at 110% capacity? They could exceed the acceptable sucking power, and suck you and anybody near you through those tiny holes and make baby food out of you before you could even scream for help!!!
