Does anyone have any experience with PNY Technologies PC2700 DDR RAM? CompUSA seems to have a good deal on July 4th only. They are offering these modules at $45 after $30 mail in rebate.

Will any PC2700 DDR RAM module work in the MDD PMs? I've read some threads here stating that the MDD PMs are really sensitive to certain types of RAM. Are there certain features or brands of RAM that I should avoid or look for?

I would love to be without random crashes, kernel panics, or other unsavory experiences. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, 2700 will work in all the MDDs.

last week, i got 2 256 2100 dimms for my Dual 867 for 15 dollars a peice. a few days earlier compusa had 12.99 for some...

the gig of ram seems to help in my machine when i have a lot of things going on, but other than that, i havent saturated it much
