Hey all,

Got two ADC-equipped G4 towers that I'm going to attach a monitor/keyboard switch to (the DrBott Moniswitch ADC) so I only have to use one monitor and keyboard. However, I'd like to be able to reboot them headless, i.e. with the monitor switch selected to them. Dr Bott makes no product for this, and says there's nothing out there. Any ideas?

Try looking here.

I'm not sure on the specifics, but depending on which model of G4 you have it may only have a non-twinview graphics card so the same output is shown on both VGA and ADC ports. If there is something attached to the VGA port to allow the Mac to detect a sense code then it would be able to boot.

I'm surprised that the Switch you are looking at doesn't do this - most standard VGA ones do.
