The drive is the standard Phillips combo on the FW800 dual 1.25 PM.
For some reason if I try to access last songs of audio CDs that have more than 700mb, the drives chokes. It might eventually get the data but it will take forever and iTunes import will be damaged.
I can import the same CD on my iBook or Cube...

Any ideas?

Sounds like one of two things: 1) Firmware on the drive needs to be updated. 2) System software issue - try reinstalling your CD/audio related extensions (Classic) along with iTunes and your CD Burning software.

Well I use Mac OS X, there is no firmware available on the net, Z1.4 is the one I have and seems to be the last one... Maybe the drive is faulty, I probably should call Apple and get a replacement drive.

No one had this problem means it is hardware related. Calling Apple...
