I sold my cube last year - boy what a mistake that was, but now I picked one up on ebay woo-hoo. A couple fo questions though.
I have a 20inch apple display and the stock ati card isn't powerful enough to drive. Which card should I keep my eye out for on ebay. Luckily I had an old apple 17" monitor kicking around.
Lastly any websites dedicated to the cube.
Thanks
Mike

Congrats on picking yourself up a Cube! I just got in from NYC yesterday to open mine up that I just purchased from a fellow MacNN board member...it's AWESOME!
To answer your questions, you'll need to keep your eye out on eBay (hardly possible to find the cards for sale on websites these days) for a Cube OEM GeForce 2 MX 32MB or a GeForce 3 64MB card. I have the GeForce 2 MX and it pushes my 23" HD Display beautifully, however I'd love the GeForce 3 for it's power, but the prices of them on eBay are crazy as they're pretty rare.
The best site dedicated to the Cube: www.cubeowner.com
Enjoy your Cube!

I had a BTO Radeon Card in my cube... I only ran a 17" ACD with it, but am pretty sure it will run a cinema display.
You see them from time to time on ebay, but make sure get the dedicated 'cube' one with a 'heat sink' and ADC and not the PC derivative 'fan' model...
Enjoy the cube!

Thanks for the info, I found a fanless ati radeon on ebay (it is an apple oem card), would that work or would it cook the cube?
I have to say running the cube is whisper quiet, I guess I got used to my dual gig's fan though not as bad as the MDD it still makes a fair amount of noise as compared to the cube (though much quicker).

Possibly. Make *SURE* it says "Cube" somewhere in there, and if not, email the seller first to make sure it was designed for the Cube. The Cube OEM cards are physically smaller than standard Apple OEM cards.
