I recently got one from Small Dog for a better price than on the pricegrabber. Check them out.

No problem with refurbished. Same warranty and Small Dog gives great service.

Every time I come close to biting on the 1.42 dual, I remember that this is the same machine that didn't represent enough of a performance increase for me to buy it before the price decrease. I don't think spending less on it will make me feel better about those performance issues....

...problem is that it has an infinitely more attractive chassis than the G5, both more functional (dual optical drives and HD space aplenty) and more pleasing to the eye.

What keeps pulling me back to the G5 is that it's only an additional thousand dollars for OH-SO much more performance. At the end of the day, I'm expecting 3rd party vendors to solve my HD storage problem. Meanwhile....it's just hell waiting for the G5 duallie to finally come out into the world. Eager to read those in-depth reviews and performance comparisons so I can justify spending the big bucks for this puppy.

I was a little skeptical about the G5 chasis as well. But after watching this video I fell in love with it. Now, whenever I need a confidence boost about my G5 order, I watch this video.
