Hi all,

I'm new to the board. I just found out about the power supply exchange program but the deadline has already passed. Does anyone know how I might be able to obtain a kit? My G4 was purchased as soon as the mirror-door model came out last year, so I have the old power supply and noisy fan. I contacted Apple Tech Support and Customer Service were reluctant to help and admitted that they never tried to contact consumers other than posting the program on their website (which I do not frequent). Any ideas? I really don't want to try and go through their corporate offices, but Tech Support said the kits will not be available at retail stores, service centers, etc., so how do I fix my G4?

For power supplies for sale, check the auction sites, particularly eBay as users who either received 2 units or decided against the changeover have had them posted for sale...
other improvements (fan replacement, etc) to the G4's for noise abatement have been posted to discussion boards like this and elsewhere..
