I have heard and read in the forums that With your one time ADC discount you can get a desktop and a laptop. Others have said that you can only get a deasktop or only a laptop.
which is it?
Anyone?

It depends on your membership. If you are a student developer, you get one lifetime hardware purchase. This means only one machine (i.e. laptop OR desktop with display). If you have a better membership, you may be entitled to more discounts. Take a look at the hardware purchase program section of the ADC site.

yeah, i was able to get my Dual 867 for amazingly cheap, thanks to ADC. like the poster above me said, student devs only get one purchase a lifetime. i cant comment on the rules for the other devlopment packages except that they are expensive.

That *may* be true, however, I know a previous forum member here used his Student ADC Discount to get a 15" TiBook and a 17" iMac all in the same order, both discounted. It said the iMac was an "accessory" to the TiBook...it's worth a try!
