Hello folks,
I have a dual 1ghz MDD and my 80 gig hardrive is almost to its brim with stuff that i cant part with. I need to get either a 120 or 180 gig hardrive to complement my current one. Has to be internal and has to be a good one for a good price. Any suggestions??? Also any suggestions on getting it quieter?? I missed out on the whole replacement fan deal.
thanx a bunch
Trev

For a cheap HD go to www.dealmac.com for good deals.
I got a 200 GIG Westerndigital HD for only $115 from Dell.com a week ago. Any IDE hard drive will work for you, and installing a HD is very easy.

Hi,
I seriously suggest that you should look at either Segate Barracuda or Samsung hard drives since both are designed to be as quiet as possible whilst retaining as much performance as possible. Western Digital hard drives are know to be fast hard drives but at the same time very noisey as well.
Cheers,
ss1.

Whatever you get, I'd opt for a drive with an 8MB cache...
