I've seen the image before, it is a screen grab from the G5 intro movie...
It says in the G5 specs we are getting an 'Apple Keyboard and Mouse', and I guess that is what is in the pictures....
I just pray they are not white... those keyboards are awful, way inferior in materials and feel to the previous black items.
Would it be too hard to make them silver, or at worse keep them black?
If my G5 ships with the white items (well actually if it ships at all at this rate!! ), I'll be looking for a old style black keyboard double quick, whatever the additional cost...

I just hope they've got some new monitors, mice and keyboards coming out soon. they just do not look right next to the G5. I'd love a nice bluetooth enabled keyboard and mouse package. Isn't that what bluetooth is for?
New metal encased lcd panels would be cool too.

They are white. They have been shipping on some of the eMacs already.

yeah those are the keyboard for the eMac (like was stated in the PDF release of the specs). i like the way those feel, but still prefer the KB from my Dual G4 (which i think is the best KB i have used)

They are white, it is the lighting that make them look gray.

I dig the white Keyboards and Mice.
I know this is just vanity speaking, but the White adds to the modern feel of the design (and my place) a whole lot better than those black ones did.

I hate all the Apple keyboards and mice. Apple hasn't made a good keyboard since the Extended Keyboard II, and if you know what kybd I'm talking about then you know it was sweet. A little on the large side, but not any larger really than my Logitech Elite. I wish the Logitech keys were a little sturdier, but in spite of that I find it far superior to anything Apple has got out there.
As for that stupid one button mouse, it just blows my mind that Apple refuses to adopt two buttons (see Steve).

I just don't like the fact that the new KB is permaneantly angled. I prefer my keyboard to be flat as it's easier on the wrists.

I definitely agree about the keyboard. I still use the extended II and its a really solid keyboard unlike the newer ones, which feel 'spongey' by comparison. And the mice, well, its really a pity. I think 2 buttons and a scrollwheel are indispensable nowadays.

This past sunday I went to an apple store to look at the powerbooks. While I was there i saw a new box for the pro keyboard. There is anew keayboard, it is white, and has plastic running along the bottom to provide support.

All I want to know is, does it have the full keyset (with forward delete, full size arrows, etc)? I'd hate to do without those.

The black pro keyboard I have is awsome I intend to use it with any new Mac I buy... until It breaks... and then I'm going to offer some sorta switch with my school old school for one of their keyboard or something unless apple comes up with something other than those ugly white keyboards. They work with an eMac or iMac, but come on the Power Mac is an excuse to have a new one!

I use a Logitech cordless now. Rockage. I hate the Apple "Pro" keyboards.

The new eMac keyboards don't have a space separating the F-keys.
ie, the F-key are not broken into groups, esc - 4 - 4 - 4 - 3, they are all directly next to each other. This provides for the addition of a NEW f-key, F16. Not sure what comes with the new G5, but if it's the one that's pictured in this thread, then it's the same as the new eMac's.
I wonder what apps will make use of F-16.
