Hey,

I'm using Cinema Screen Monitor with my Power Mac G4 to do my works.

Today it behaves so weird that the Power ON/Off button on the Monitor keep blinking 3 times after every single 5 seconds...

I checked whether is there any error occured from my Mac but there's no error, even i restarted my mac, it's the same and keep blinking..and blinking..

I'm afraid that the monitor is going to explode kind of something? Before it explodes, i have to post this thread...

Can anyone help me ???

If you've tried unplugging/plugging your monitor back in and it's still doing that call apple, it's either an inverter problem or a backlight problem.

I remember the first monitor I got with my G4 had that problem all the time

I had the EXACT same problem awhile back when using my 23" HD Display w/ my custom built Shuttle XPC running WinXP. It turned out that the graphics card in my rig was corrupt. Can you try plugging your display into another graphics card and seeing if you get the same problem? Best of luck man.

Glad it's all working again! It was probably just a un-secure connection and replugging it in solved it.

But I don't ever remember having that prob with THIS monitor.

Well glad to hear all's well
