Hi, this is my first post here, hope someone can help. I have a few files sitting on my imac (0s10.2) which I can't trash - when i try to, i get the message "the item **** is being used by another task right now. (other tasks include moving, copying or emptying the trash) Try again when the other task is complete"
This "other task" has beeen going on for a couple of months now; what do i do?

Hi,
I`m not sure if this works with OS-X , (I`m using 9 ) , try selcting "trash" while holding the "option" key.
Also sometimes , just rebooting does the trick !!
