Hello,

Can somebody tell me for certain whether the PPC 8500 internal SCSI is connected via a 80 or 50 pin adapter?

Your response will be greatly appreciated. I've been unable to find the answer myself online...

The NATIVE internal SCSI on an 8500/8600 is 50 pin. Same with a 9500/9600 and the rest of the 7300-9600 line. Apple never used 80pin SCA interfaces for the mostpart.
