I just got a second superdrive for my G4 (dual 1.4). And the eject button on the keyboard only opens the newer (lower drive bay) drive. I can't figure out how to open the upper drive so that I can dupe disks. The eject menu bar doesn't work anymore either.
I tried all those. But it just took a couple restarts for the system to settle. Now the eject menu works again showing both drives and the option eject works smooth also.
