Purchasing a new G5 and ordering the minimum amount of memory from Apple and getting memory upgrades elsewhere.

Now, I understand that CL2 is faster than CL3 because of the 2 versus 3 clock cycle thing. However in real world applications, does it really make much of a difference whether your system is populated with all CL2 versus CL3?

Thanks.....

Never mind.....

Found an old post in which the general consensus was a 5% maximum difference in real world applications.

Sounds like CL3 is a-ok.
