If you haven't seen it yet, here is a link to a gallery of photos of the G5 that really shows its beauty and the "detail" that Apple put into it. These photos are by Photographer Bill Noll. IMHO better then even Apple's marketing photos. http://www.billnoll.com/g5/

That smiley conjunction, very confusing. Almost ... genius.

Anyway, the pictures are nice. In a few of the shots you can just see the G5 "making love" to the camera. The photographer had a good subject.

I got to see a G5 today for the first time. I'd have to say the design impressed me a hell of a lot more than the speed (note that design doesn't necessarily equal appearance here). It was very fast as well.

Photos were shot with a Sony F717, outstanding camera for the price. I bought one recently, there's a bunch of aftermarket lenses and accessories for it also.

Great camera, looks a little like a bazooka though.
