Perhaps someone has already asked this, but do the G5's support a RAID setup if you get two SATA drives?

Yes, you can definitely use the Apple software RAID setup on two internal SATA hard drives in the G5. 'twould be interesting to find a hardware solution to put an SATA cable to a hardware RAID controller, and thence to >= 2 drives

Just make sure that you can boot off of a RAID - I am not sure this is posible with Mac OS X. There can be only 2 drives in the G5 - So this might not work.

I'm running 10.2.6 on a G4 & booting off a RAID. If you can't do it with Apple's built in RAID software and factory drives I would be suprised. (Mine boots off a PCI ATA/133 RAID card)

Apple's built in raid allows booting.
