Why not buy from the Apple Store UK?
I'm sure board members from the UK will give you then names of other dealers.
There are a zillion reasons to buy a Mac over a PC! They are more fun, does music the best, are easy to setup and administer, have great communities like MacNN Forums. And Unix. And so on.
It also depends on what you're planning to do with the computer.

I have just bought a 17" iMac from the UK apple store. Great service and good support. Delivery takes much longer than other Warehouses though, I waited several days. PS when you check with the order number and postcode for order progress dont leave a space betweeen the two parts of your post code.

I had a truly terrible experience with MacWarehouse about 3 years ago which ended with a slanging match over the phone. The iMac (old style) I'd bought went back about 5 times and the staff were unhelpful about solving my problems.
Plus, I read somewhere that their parent company in the US has just filed for Chapter 11 and MacWarehouse has been bought by someone else.
My instinct would be to go with the Apple store. Though I've never used it, if something does go wrong you can go straight to the source rather than dealing with a 3rd party reseller.

MacWarehouse (along with MicroWarehouse) has been purchased by CDW who has a great reputation for support and services - they've always been highly recommended. Not sure however if this will apply to their newly purchased company (Warehouse.com).
