Well, today I did a bit of spending. It seems like the longer I have to wait for my G5 the more I spend on it!

Anyway, I upgraded my order to the 250GB HD. A hundred bucks more is worth it considering the limitations on teh case.

I also bought another HD today (here comes the question). Its that new WD 10k SATA drive. I didn't think it would be a big deal to install or anything, but now that I think more about it I'm wondering how OS X will incorperate with it.

You see, I would like to keep ONLY my OS and apps on the 10k drive (its only 36gigs). How would I get all the goodies in my users folder onto this other drive (while still keeping cache folders and such on the faster 10k drive)? Would I have to manually do this? For example, my music and projects folders need to be on the 250GB HD for sure. I'm so used to using this users folder now that im not sure how this will work.

I would appreciate any advice from those with experience using multi HD setups.
