Because of prolonged lack of use, the internal battery in my friend's Indigo iMac (bought summer of 200, possibly) had to be replaced. I did this myself, and it seems to have worked, as the computer now turns on. It is booting from the OS9 CD, however, and I cannot install the OS. No disk is selectable in either that or the disk utility menus.

I cannot figure out how to install an OS on the computer or locate the HD.

Help?
