Is there any way you can get a Blue and White G3 to boot off of a FireWire device? Or to get it to run in Target Mode itself (but preferably to boot off a firewire device) ??

and as to the former, no. the firewire isn't set up in time in the boot process. i'm guessing this excludes Target Mode as well, but i haven't tried it.

By coincidence, only Macs with AGP graphics support FireWire Target Disk Mode and booting from FireWire and USB.

The blue G3 does not meet these requirements. There is no workaround.
