keyboard&mouse keep locking up in OS9.2......

hi

when Im booted in OS9.2, the keyboard & mouse lockup


I've noticed that when I first start OS9.2 (start up the imac) -it takes time for the keyboard to get recognised (as the mouse pointer doesn't move for a while)

I've also noticed that just before the keyboard and mouse lock up , the green light on the caps lock blinks twice

- sometimes when I unplug&plug it back in it works again - and other times it doesn't

(I have original apple usb keyboard &mouse)

anyone have any ideas what this could be?

(they do not lock up when running in OSX)
