My friend has had his 350mhz Indigo iMac inactive and unplugged for about 5 months. The PRAM battery had to be replaced, and was done so successfully. It was zapped as well. Now we're back to the old problem- There's no selectable disk on his computer. It only boots up from the OS9 disc and wont allow to instal any operating system, no disk shows up. I've gone into disk utility to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps an IDE cable was bumped or dislodged when they replaced the battery? Better open it back up and make sure the HD is still powered and hooked up properly.
