I just got my GB of RAM in the mail to put in my new G4, it was really bad using it with only 256 MB. But the chip isn't recognized. It knows theres a chip in there, but its size is "empty" i tried moving it from slot to slot still nothing, its the right type though, DDR2700, and all its other specs match up to what apple states. Like cas2.5 and 6 layer board (or something like that) do i just have a bad stick?
