Well after a couple of weeks of getting the AlPB 17, I decided to take the plunge and get the PM G5 1.8 and retire the iMac. In the process of getting the G5, I ended getting the ACD 20 instead of the 23.

In the process of transferring my data and settings from the iMac over to the G5. The ACD is amazingly bright and looks great.

Has anyone hook their PM/PB to a Plasma TV yet?

Egads, you have a lot of current Macs (even without the iMac)!

I haven't had the oppotunity to hook up my PowerBook to a plasma display (most people haven't!), but I would only think that it's a question of finding a plasma TV that accepts DVI input (or else obtaining a DVI-to-component video adapter).

Judging by what you have, I don't think that sounds anything like a plunge.. more like sticking your feet into the water.

When you get a small array of G5 dual 2ghz boxes I'll believe you're plunging

I sold the TiPB and iMac earlier today, so now it's just the PM G5, AlPB and the iBook. I will find out this Saturday if either the PB or PM will work on a Plasma TV (Panasonic 42). If so, the Bluetooth accessories are going to be useful.
