Is it possible to mount a window fat32 external drive under os x ?

Yep. I have an external Firewire drive that has two partitions. One is Fat32 and the other is HFS. I can read and write the Fat32 partition just fine.

how did you partition the external drive? can you still boot from the hfs+ partition?

if i partition in macosX i can't create fat32 partitions but i can boot from the external drive. i also cant use the harddisk in any non mac computer because there seem to be no partitions on it. if i partition in linux i can create fat 32 partitions and anything else. but i cant boot from the hfs+ partition

how to solve this problem?
