I've tried getting a response in the networking forum....nobody replies.

Sooo....

My question is this. Can I put an Airport Card (not Airport Extreme) in a new G5 1.8? Is it compatible?

No you cannot put an airport card into a G5. It must be an airport extreme card. Why would you want to put an airport card into a G5 anyways? An airport extreme card is compatible with old airport base stations.

AirPort Extreme cards are mini-PCI, AirPort cards are PCMCIA. They won't fit.

Or if you're absolutely broke from spending all your $$$ on the G5, you could pay like $45.00 and get the D-link DWL-122.
