I have a B&W that I want to use as a server, I have some scsi disks, but I'm looking to add a faster controller. What scsi controllers are compatible w/ OSX and the B&W. Is there a list or place I can go. Does anyone have any experience with scsi in a B&W? Thanks.

Check out www.xlr8yourmac.com for the difinitive source on all things for the B&W PowerMacs. I personally never used a SCSI card in mine but this web site has compatibility lists for almost anything.

I had an Orange Micro 930U SCSI card in my B&W G3 as I had a SCSI scanner and an external SCSI hard drive. It has separate internal and external buses. In the last few years I replaced my SCSI scanner with a USB scanner and I stopped using the external hard drive as I installed a CD burner so the card fell by the wayside. I had no problems with it though.
