Hey--

any things you don't like about the imac, either the 15 or 17 inch?

i was at one store today and the side of the screen (the plastic part that goes around the screen) was very hard to look at.

It was reflecting weird. I think it was just the white background at the store.

Just wondeing if current iMac owners, ever noticed any issue with this. Never noticed this before in any store.

I'm just the big anal type, and that woudl annoy me if it does reflect things in a weird way.

I'm too busy looking at the screen to notice the clear plastic frame . I've got mini blinds behind my display, and it still doesn't bother me. It's also true about the one stuck pixel I've got near the middle of the screen (and no... Messaging the front of the display has not worked to get rid of it. It's in front of the metal bezel in the back, so messaging the back is not an option either ) . But while I'm using the machine, it's almost always a non-issue.

I don't really have any other concerns about my iMac... I love it ! When I can afford to get a 200GB 7500rpm HD, I'll crack the sucker open and replace the current drive (hopefully replace the non-user memory with a 512MB chip, while I'm in there). The Superdrive has performed flawlessly, so far (I burn all my Linux ISO's with it); the 'orb' speakers and sub-woofer are more than enough for my needs, and even the keyboard is just fine with everyday use (well, ok... I'm not tickled about the white color of the keyboard, but a Kensington 'keyboard in-a-box' could fix that ) .
