Could someone please tell me the version of 10.2 in the new 1.25GHz 17" iMacs since I will be getting one on monday and would like to download the updates before I get it.
For examply does it come with 1.2.6 or 1.2.8?

What joy - a new 17" iMac on Monday - you lucky person!!
greenG4 could be right - on the other hand it could be 10.2.6
But whatever version it comes with, avoid temptation and DONT upgrade to 10.2.8, 'cos if you do the pain in your chest will be unbearable and I'll be able to hear your cries of anguish down here in London!!

My new 15" 1GHz came with 10.2.7, I would assume the new 17" inch would be the same.

Same here, my girlfriend just upgraded it to 10.2.8 yesterday and everything is still running swell.
