I'm going to buy an additional 1GB of ram for my new Dual G5 and I've had good experiances with Crucial in the past. When I go to their website, I'm finding it a little confusing. Take a look at the following page...

Are they saying I can get 2 512MB modules for $92.99 each or does it say that $92.99 will buy me two modules that equal a total of 512MB?? I think it's the former but I'd prefer to be sure before I buy.

Well, when I click on 'buy', I get
2x512MB, total price: $185

So you get 1 gig for $185.

I'd guess that Crucial knows what they're doing and the RAM is sold in pairs - as required by the G5. In other words, 512MB is two sticks of 256MB.

$200 per gigabyte is the average price for DDR RAM currently.

Ugh. I forgot how ugly the web was before OS X.

i just ordered ram for my upcoming g5 from there. Notice the quanity defaults to 2, so when you click buy under the 512Mb, you get 2 sticks of 512, equaling 1gig, costing about $186.

Okay, I got my ram today (wow, that was fast!) and I'm going to install it after work. One thing I noticed though is that nowhere on the ram or on Crucial's website does it state that this is 400mhz ram. It is, right?
