I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to upgrade my g4 mdd to the higher cpu speeds. I see a lot of upgrade motherboards and cpu's out there but they all seem to be for earlier powermacs.

No upgrades are available (unless you grab another MDDs processor card). But if you want to run some risks you can try overclocking:

Do so at your own risk however, if it dies, that's that.
