Hey everybody. I have a lot of DV projects coming up and could really benefit from the power of a dual G5. I want to buy one with no payments for 6 months. I know I can do this at CompUSA, but my local store hasn't had duals for 3 weeks and they don't know when they will be getting them.

Anyone else know of any places offering 6 months same as cash? I would wet my pants if Apple did it as part of their "Night of Panther".

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

CompUSA's deal is better than that. I got 15 months no interest no payments on my dual g5.

Tell them you want the 15 month no interest no payments and you want to order a dual G5. They will have you fill out a credit app and thats it. I got my machine in less than a week.

If your local Best Buy is selling G5s, you could get a Best Buy card and do the no financing thing. Best Buy and CompUSA use the same credit card company.

Can you not apply for a CompUSA card online and order your G5 online, as well?

My local bestbuy is not selling G5's. Great suggestion though.

Yes, I can apply online and buy the G5 online...just wanted to get it in store. Thank you for your ideas.

Any others?

Come to the Detroit CompUSA. We've got a Dual you can buy, but it's a demo unit.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

Thank you for your generous offer, but I went to the panther party tonight and the manager of my local apple store gave me 6 months same as cash on a apple loan. (even though they weren't running that promo)

This is my first post on my dual 2 + 20.1" screen!
