please help me someone,
i have crap signal in my room, and would like to make calls via my mac. yes, thru my macs speakers/headphones and the internal mic. i'd be doing this through my t610 using bluetooth. it wouldn't be far away... i am wondering if this is possible, i have heard it is, and if it is, how to do it!!

OK, what signal are you talking about? The T610's signal?

Because if that's the case, the Mac won't help any.

Now, with Jag or Panther (and a phone signal of course) and a Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth Mac, you can:

REPLY to incoming text messages with Address Book

SEND text messages with iChat AV

There may be some software out there that can actually use the Mac to make phone calls through your speakers and your Bluetooth phone, but I am not aware of any.

if you open Address book, and its BT is turned on, you can hit CALL for a number and it will dial it for you...but talking THROUGH the iMac...don't think it can be done.
