This has been discussed a bit recently but the previous thread didn't seem to come to an answer. Do the current G4 PowerMacs have the new quieter fans? I owned an original MDD Dual 867. Am considering a 1.25 GHz (M9145LL/A). Has anyone owned or extensively used both in order to compare?

The new G4s do indeed seem to have the quieter fans... Though mine is a dual 1.25 FW800 model, so I'm not sure, however, with the non-FW800 models being newer, I assume they would have to same quieter fans...
