When I move my mouse around the screen, very often, the mouse icon disappears and hides, then reappears about 5 seconds later in the uttermost corner of the screen.

This happens when I use Logic audio 6.

Anyone else with the same problems? It's really pissing me off!!

Mine doesn't disappear for 5 seconds, but it does frequently jump to the corners. And they happen to be the corners I have set up for Expose, which is a little annoying. Thought it was my mouse, but maybe others are having the same sort of thing.

Optical mouse + mousing surface with repetitive pattern (such as a raster) = jumpy mouse.

Try the mouse on a blank sheet of paper (any color).

P.S. The arrow that the mouse moves is called the mouse pointer; the blinking bar in a text field is the cursor; icons are things on the screen that you click with the mouse pointer.
