What is the best way to clean a G5?

The subject say it all. But, do I have to clean the G5 before starting it up for the first time (before it gets hot)? It is not very dirty at all but if I look the aluminum under a light and between some angle I can see traces of the working, presumably when aluminum gets polished by water after working.

PS: Apple did not sent me the display along with the G5. This is why I have not power it up right now.
