hey i have a powermac G4 400mhz that i have added a sonnet ide 133 pci upgrade card in to get more speed out of my hard drives

i've run into a problem though that my western digital 80gb 8mb cache hard drive will not boot when on the sonnet bus..

on boot it gets to the grey apple and just stalls without ever showing the progress scroll

the drive works fine on the built in ide bus and another 60gb western digital drive works fine and boots on the sonnet bus.

i've checked the jumpers, swapped the wires between the 2 hard drives, and reinstalled OSX.3 but still no boot...

i want to keep only the 80gb drive in the machine(i plan to move the 60gb to another comp) and i want to use the faster bus of course.

can anyone help me figure what is going wrong?
