I remember reading that the "Automatic" energy saver processor setting might result in hgher performance than selecting the "Highest" setting. Anyone know?

I am using a DP 1.8GHz G5 (just arrived today!)

I personally run highest all the time. I like to know that I have 100% processor performance all of he time. I don't think that the energy saved or the processor life is greatly impacted (imho)..Plus, I put my machine to sleep when I'm not using it...

You have a DP 1.8GHz G5 "BTO" as well!! Don't know how long it will be before we get them in the UK!

I have a 1.6...no dually here!! Maybe in 2 or 3 years from now....I still love it though..
