I put a piece of American Cheese into the Superdrive on my new computer: http://www.apple.com/powermac/. Now I can't burn my favorite Mp3's to it.

Any suggestions?

Add some ham and bread, and maybe it will spit out a sandwich?

Try what APU said. I've had this problem before. Then I tried the new Muenster cheese discs. They're re-cheesable, too.

You used American cheese? That's your problem. I would suggest countering with a nice aged gouda. That should fix things.

[EDIT: Damn you, xylon! Beating me to the punch in mere seconds!]

You can clean out the cheese residue with a can of compressed air spray. Just don't use the can of compressed cheese spray.

But then why does the G5 look vaguely like a cheese grater?
