Hello all,
Printing to my good ol HP 4m from Panther (and previous OSX versions) was really slow, especially from Safari. I tried different drivers etc.. I finally tried swtching from Appletalk to LPR and entering the IP address of the HP. A web page that previously took 10 minutes to print (ahhhhhh!) now takes about 40 seconds!

Shouldn't this be in the OS X forum? Or is this issue specific to iMacs somehow?

OK, I'm new to this forum, so I'm still learning.
I only run imacs, so this tip will be helpful to imac users printing to HP's. I'll also make this available on the OSX forum.
