Anybody know if you can boot from an external lacie firewire CD burner? I want to install OS X on a blue and white and the internal CD rom does not boot from the OS X CD. (It does boot from an OS 9 CD. I was able to load OS 9 with no problem).

Thanks to all who answer.

Blue and white G3s (and Yikes! G4s) can't boot from FireWire devices. (Later FireWire machines can.)
