Can't really complain about this computer being noisy at all, it is very quiet. It is just it seems noisier today than before. I would say it sounds like one of the fans at the front seems to be louder.

Do they just do that? Haven't touched processor settings or anything...

I haven't heard anything out of my dp 1.8

Well, if I listen real close, I think I can hear a very slight whine noise. It is so slight, it isn't that noticable.

It's not like the windows machine that I built.

I wasn't sure how many fans to put in it, so I put one in every available fan position, for a total of 3 90cm and 1 120cm. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner when I have it on.
