I just aquired a Dual 1.25 MDD Powermac. It has a fw800 port and is the non-dual boot model. With some many different versions of this computer out there I'm having trouble determining if I have regular airport or airport extreme.. How can I figure out which version I have so I can add an airport card?

From the PDF on the FW800 model:
Built-in antennas and expansion slot for optional 54-Mbps AirPort Extreme Card (based on IEEE 802.11g draft specification.

The question I have is: Does the airport extreme slot look the same as the normal airport slot when its empty? I'd swear that the slot looks the same as the one in my old digital audio G4. I know that the currently available 1.25 G4s have regular airport, but no fw800. Also, according to apple system profiler I have 1MB L3 cache.. So many revisions.... Anyway, I would hate to order a an AE card and have it not fit...

The slots do look similar when empty.
You can determine which PowerMac G4 you have by visiting the articles below. If your machine has a FireWire 800 port (shown in the second article), it is a PowerMac G4 (FW800).

Proton: Thanks for doing the research. Looks like I have Airport Extreme. I'm happy about that!
