My Maxtor 250GB OEM died. It is to be replaced by Apple but I want buy another one, a 160GB. Which is better a Seagate (I don't know the G5 OEM model number) or a Maxtor 6Y160MO?

Thanks
Sam

Seems like the Maxtor is the suck eh?

Mine came with a 160GB Seagate and I tossed another 160GB Seagate in there and have had nothing but drive happiness.

However, I have a lot of computers and a lot of hard drives (IBM, Western Digital, Maxtor, Seagate). Failures just seem like a crap shoot. Find one for a good price, keep up with yer backups and rock on.
