i accidentally unplugged my digi cam from my imac and it said that the device was drawing too much power and that the usb port was going to be turned off? not sure why this happened, but if you could tell me how to turn it back on that would be awesome. Thanks in advance! running panther

The port isn't shut off, the device got shut off.

Just plug said device into a powered USB port and you should be fine. If you're out of powered USB ports, get a powered USB hub, it will give you several more.
