Is it possible to install an after market superdrive in an g4 imac?

here's a link on disassembling the imac g4. make sure the DVD burner you use is mac compatible. you can use xlr8yourmac's drive compatibility database to do this.

Ouch, that looks like a Painful process. Not something I would want to attempt. Though I'm technically savvy I'd still hisitate to do this.
